Be sure the print spool service is set to automatic. STart - run -services.msc - Print Spooler service.

you able to connect it without filtering, then in the mac address filtering list add the mac address from an auto-populated list rather than manually typing it? then enable filtering? What model dlink router is it? Also are there other devices that are connected to the router using the filtering?

Never got a response from the "HP questions before you buy" page (other than the auto acknowledgement) so on Wednesday I sent a followup with the same list of printers, requesting their PCL5 supported font lists and confirmation that they will use PCL5 bitmap soft fonts. Again, got the auto-acknowledgement. If I don't hear back by Monday I'll start beating on Twitter again.

CP4025 black print only--begins ghosting on page
Hi-
Essentially, any page that prints out with black ink, the "ghosting" appears approximately halfway up the page(Letter size) and only occurs once....3 inches up the page. It does not continue ghosting for the same set of words beyond that 3 inch range and it does not continue onto the next page that begins printing. Hopefully the attached picture will clarify a bit.
I've replaced the black toner cartridge...twice....and I've replaced the fuser. This printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and NOT a surge protector.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

LASER JET M603
The printer is getting fuser error 50.92.11. It only happen three time from what the event log say. I try to look this up in the service book but there is not any 50.92.11 in there.

Just a quick update: the printer would not ping and connecting to a USB would not work either.
Sine the printer was only 6 months old, HP sent me a new Formatter (next day air) and i'm back up and running! Everything free of charge and support was great.

HP JaserJet P4014 black smudge 3 5/8 inches from the lead edge
I have a HP LaserJet P4014 that is giving a black smudge 1/2 inch wide at 3 5/8 inches from the lead edge, in the same spot everytime, and only one mark, never repetes or moves. I stopped a print mid cycle, removed the toner cartridge and found that the paper was between the registration roller and the fuser, with what arreared to be a huge paper buckle, where the paper touched the frame where the smudge is. Question is, is the registration moving to quickly, or the fuser moving to slowly? Is this possible?

Sorry for the previous incorrect solution - the INPW has nothing to do with the message "Access Denied. Your IP Address cannot access this device." That message is generated by the Jetdirect Print Server in your network print server when its Access Control List is enabled but excludes the client that is making the connection.
To regain control of the printer you must reset security from the printer control panel: Menu - Network Settings - Embedded Jetdirect - Security - Reset Security - Save - and then exit back to HOME. This will disable and clear the Access Control List; note that this will also clear the admin password, firewall, IPSec etc. You should plan on reviewing all security settings on the printer after resetting security.
The Access Control List can be found on the web interface under Networking - Authorization - Access Control. (Your mileage may vary; this interface has evolved over the years.)

I'd start by swapping out the print cartridge. There is a small possibility it's something in the fuser but I can't tell for sure.

Make sure you have a static ip address. If you can ping the printer try turning the printer off then try to ping it. if it still pings you have an ip conflict. You use the static ip and make sure it is not in the dhcp range. If you still have a problem go to the firmware fix.

HP Laserjet printer of 401
lasarjet 401 series
At my office we have installed 8 HP Laserjet printer of 401 series but suddenly the the printer stop working ( all the printers) without any reason. when we analyse we understand that we are in workgroup environment where the usb drives are blocked for data cards. The HP printers are connected to USB only since the printer suddenly read the USB as data drive, the printer stop working.
We operate on window 7 professional 32 bit
can any one suggest solutions

HP 4250 - Modify Screen Message?
We have a networked HP 4250 with 10 users. We use Tray 1 to print labels. On occasion, we will have two or three users submit label print jobs at the same time.
Whe the job comes up, the printer screen reads "Load Tray 1 - Labels". The problem is, we don't know whose job came up, so we don't know which size labels to load. Often, we assume it is our job, load our labels, but it is someone else's job that prints on the wrong size labels, which must be discarded and the job resubmitted.... all of which is very annoying.
Is there a way that we can get the screen message to identify the user? Ideally, we would like to have the message read "User xxxx Load Tray 1 Labels"?
If not, can we get custom printer firmware changed to do this?
Or is there an alternative way to do this? Can we display the print queue on the printer screen to see whose job is printing? (There isn't a PC close to the printer to do this on).

HP Toolbox FX on CM 2320
I've installed the CM2320 on my new computer with Windows 8.1. I want to be able to scan from the scanner as opposed to running back and forth to my computer. I used to have FX loaded, but when I updated to 8.1, it went away. Does anyone have any suggested fixes to get it back working?
