Our application exclusively sends raw pcl print jobs via network. We have problems with the Laserjet 1606dn as it seems to go to sleep but doesn't wake up when it receives a job. We run on Linux, with the CUPS print server, which allows interface scripts. I wonder if there might be a command that I could write in an interface script to awaken the printer when a job is sent?
