I have been using this printer/scanner HP CM1312NFI for several years during this time one of the Windows 7 uppgrades has caused a problem with the twain scanner. I have installed the HP Print and scan doctor. I am getting an issue with the twain/scan
I have uninstalled the HP software, downladed the latest version, updated the firmware on the printer, rebooted and reinstalled several times with no luck. I have tried the fix related to services and WIA service all is set to automatic and all are running.
I installed the printer software on a laptop with windows 8 and that works fine so I am convinced that it is a settings issue on teh Windows 7 desktop.
