I believe what you are wanting to do is to print to the wireless printer using HP Wireless Direct. Is this correct?
Assuming this is correct, you can change a portion of this SSID by using the device's Embedded Web Server (EWS). After getting the network address of the printer (IP address or hostname will work), type this address into your favorite browser (Internet Explorer or Chrome as an example).
You are now connected to the device's EWS.
Each devices EWS may be slightly different, but you will need to travers to the Network tab and then find the Wireless Direct Setup page.
On this page you will see the SSID you want to change. You can see that only a portion of it can be changed... but it can be changed to be more reflective of the area it is in.
Of course, if your printer is managed by your own IT department, it would be best to check with them first.
