We have 2 Color LaserJet CP2025dn printers, both of which seem to be trying to send SNMP trap info to an unknown IP address (one seems to do it significantly more than the other, but I suspect that is due to volume of use). We have reports from our firewall that note blocked traffic, with source and destination IP and destination port. Both printers are (and have always been) configured to a 10.x.x.x IP address, but both try to send traffic on port 162 (SNMP) to a 192.168.x.x address. However, I can find nowhere in the configuration where the printers can even configure an SNMP trap address. Searching has revealed several people trying to configure a trap address, but it doesn't sound like most (if not all) LaserJet printers are capable of configuring a trap address. I have tried doing a factory reset on the printers, but it doesn't help.
Any ideas how/where to change this configuration?
