I was able to receive some help this morning from HP support. It turns out there were two things that I needed to change. The first was that when printing from a pdf, there is an option in the Print box to "Choose paper source by PDF page size" and the second thing was with the Printing Preferences of the printer. In the Printing Preferences, under the 'Printing Shortcuts' tab, the Paper Type was set to Prepunched. We changed that to Unspecified. After making those two changes, the user was able to print out correctly to the printer.
