What's the exact issue you're having ?
I thought DWS was the Driver Work Space which was set in the print driver properties, this then allocates some memory in the printer as well for workspace functions.
As far as I can recall there's no setting in the printer itself for this, it was set in the driver and on some older drivers If my memory is correct you could alter the DWS to different values but in most cases it was fine left on default.
It might help if you post some more info on the problem you have.
