How is the computer connected? If connected to your network with a jet direct card, then just go to the information menu on the printer and print a config page. The second page will be the network ip address you need to add the printer to the xp computers. Once you have the address just go to add printer, next, local printer and on the next page at the bottom check the create port and in the drop down choose standard tcp/ip and then next and just follow the instructions from there. The driver for the 4000 is built into xp operating system so it should be very easy.
