... and here is a sample print file which should print (on a Portrait Letter page) a grid showing the characters corresponding to character codes 32 -> 255 (hexadecimal 0x20 -> 0xff) using the printer-resident Wingdings font (which is bound to symbol set 579L).
The print file was produced using the Font Sample tool in the PCL Paraphernalia application, available via http://www.pclparaphernalia.eu
The .prn print file has been disguised (in order to be able to attach it to this forum) by renaming it with an extra .txt extension.
Also attached is a file containing an analysis of the print file.
