There is a undocumented procedure for some hp printers which yours may or may not have. Worth a try I guess, but perform at your own risk. In the back of the printer a little to the right of center when looking from the rear is a small hole where you stick a toothpick or other object to perform an engine test which is just small lines of each color. On some hp printers holding the toothpick in while turning on the printer and continuing to hold until the printer comes to ready, will perform a dc controller reset and will cause the printer to re-calibrate the colors from scratch.
