Hi Sherry,

I'm an HP Employee.

I would like to assist you with ref to the issue.

Assuming that your OS on the system would be Win 7 64 bit or Win 7 32 bit. as you have updated the icon coming up with Troubleshoot option. I would request you to please right click on the printer icon and go to "See whats printing" and click on printer on left top corner and then select "Cancel all documents".

then "right click" on printer icon and go to "Printer properties" then click on the ports tab and check which port is being selected. Please select the correct USB port and if you have the printer on Network Please print a configuration sheet and check the IP address and based on that select the correct Port which has the IP address of the printer.

Then please click on the apply button and then okay. Please go back to the "Printer Properties" and go to "General" tab and please click on the "Print test page" button on the right bottom corner of the window and check if the printer prints.  This should mostly fix the issue. Will surely try to assist you further in this matter.
