I just had one of these errors. I read all the information I could find.
None of which helped. I checked the fuser assembly and all the paper path flags.
The fuser is fine, the flags were movable and none broken. I spent about thirty
minutes resetting the printer to get it back to the ready condition. It was
while I was checking the toner cartridge that I discovered the problem.
The toner cartridge for this printer is an odd design compared to the others.
This being the articulated rod that connects the cartridge to the printer's drive motor.
I was wondering if the cartridge was binding. I tried rotating the drum and found that
there was a lot of resistance to movement. Toner cartridge drums generally have some resistance but this
one more so than normal. This cartridge was a refurb unit. I not a fan of these anyway and
I never recommend their use, but then I don't buy them. I had the user replace the toner
cartridge- Problem solved.
