In working with a HP Color LaserJet CP5520 for the past week, this issue does not seem to be going away. I have checked the forums and so far this is what I have done:
- Taken out the cartridges and checked them for spillage (cleaned up what was there) - also changed the black and red because was the color of the streaks. This changed nothing.
-taken out the fuser and cleaned up some red streaks using a lint free cloth and these seem to keep coming back; not sure why and if you can help with this that would be great!
-cleaned the glass and did a full calibration of the ink cartridges.
- In checking the diagnostics everything is showing almost full - the ink cartridges, the fuser and toner box
What else can I do that will take away these vertical lines which seem to change with whatever the dominant color is of printing?
