Thanks David & Dennis for your quick response! Only have the 'Ready-to-Go' single Green light ON, and when pushed; prints out Test Page just fine.
I'll check the info you've sent, but hopefully my reply can help pinpoint the problem exactly.
Am I supposed to have the printer installed as 'Postscript' or 'Non-Postscript Printer'?
Because my G4 Won't PRINT out the 6.5 Files now, my newer Mac Mini OS 10.7.5, my iMac OS 10.6.8 Won't OPEN/Read my PageMaker 6.5 Files, OR Print out PDF's without substituting Helvetica Black, etc. Fonts to ??, AND my G4 Will Convert 6.5 Files to PDF, but Won't OPEN PDF Files ; since this problem developed a couple months ago on my Old Original POower PC G3 & HP 6MP for Same reason, Junk'd em & been having to Create the work in PageMaker(cause I don't know Anything Else & even my CS2 InDesign is too Old for my newer Macs), then convert to PDF(and then worry about Logos screwing up for some reason during transit), put on Flash Drive, transfer to Mac Mini or iMac, download, then Print out to go to Plate for Press.
But Now, Same problem started with my slightly newer set-up! Too Crazy! Last week after pulling Every hair out of my head it seems, don't know How or What I Did or Exactly When I did it, but all of the sudden started printing out directly from the G4 again--until Friday. :~) Of ALL Times, and I've missed 2 publishing deadlines, but thank goodness my Lifers are being pretty patient. Just really crazy, and seems I'm just that 'One Click' from figuring this issue out, and being a 'Computer Genius'! But have No hair left, no funds for Christmas now, and Really Appreciate Any and All help!
