We are a small business with a few HP 6600 and 8600 printers.
They stubbornly refuse to connect to the wireless network in the building unless if the printer is within about 5 to 8 feet of the wireless router.
It is SO FRUSTRATING that these printers do not connect to the wireless network.
When I run the wireless setup wizard, it sees the wireless network and when I'm prompted to type in the wireless SSID, I do.
Then it thinks and thinks and thinks and responds with, cannot connect.
It's not just one of our 6600 or 8600, it's all of them!!!!
Do I seriously need to have a wireless router in each of the offices that has an 8600 or 6600???
I used to have so much faith in the HP product... and as the main IT guy for our small company, people are really starting to question my decision making in choosing the HP printer!!!
I need some help to resolve this annoying problem, ASAP
