HP LJ3005dn Part Information

Hi All,

I recently had a customer call up complaining about a grinding noise in their LJ3005dn, upon inspection it was quickly identified as a gear assembly issue. The parts were ordered and replaced (as per the service manual procedure), however, after the machine was put back together and reconnected it began giving a 13.20.00 paper jam error. Now i know this can be related to the fuser not being plugs not being connected and have triple checked this, i do not believe this to be the issue. What i did find (and am 99% sure this is causing the issue) is a small piece of black plastic (which is an L shape) with the part number RC2-0656 2 written on it that has not been put back inside the machine, i have searched this part number and can find no where it is listed, even in the service manual there is no listing for this part (possibly because it is part of an assembly?) and i am wondering if anyone can identify this part and give any information on where it should go.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tilberk.

(I have attached a few photo of the part)
