This is a common issue which is not only a driver issue but a communication issue between the 2 operating system. The easy way to load the printer is to load it on the windows 7 computer pretending it is connected to port lpt1. Just go thru the motions to add the printer and when you get to the makers page choose windows update and when the screen repopulates choose hp on the left and color laserjet cp3525 on the right and finish up. Now you go into devices and printers and right click on the printer and scroll down to the first properties and left click. Now click on ports and choose add port, local port and in the box that comes up type in the computer name of the xp computer and the share name of the printer using the following syntax: \\computername\sharename You just substitute your names and finish up by applying the setting and you should now be able to print to that printer from the windows 7 computer. This has been an issue since windows 7 came out and the solution above works 100% of the time.
