This is really taking the biscuit, if this is HP's idea of forward compatability, I'll never buy or recommend an HP printer ever again.
The printer works with XP & Win 7 with a USB cable, (what I need it to do), yet on my ASUS S200 with Windows 8, despie me and a technician friend spending over 20 hours so far trying to get the thing working, nothing, what is going on here somebody???
I've tried with the 64 bit PCL5, PCL6 & postscript driver and got the DOT4 USB driver installed, (and tried using all other ports too), yet it still won't print, all I'm getting is a "Cannot Print" message, (no error code or nothing) - Come on HP, this isn't good enough.
I'm using the USB2 port, what else can it be, what can I do to sort this before the HP printer goes out of my window?
