There is a known problem (and solution - see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2642020 ) where prints have missing characters from fonts such as Calibri if the document originated on a Windows XP system, but is being printed via a more up-to-date system
There are two solutions provided:
- You can send the print job as a RAW print job by turning off Enable advanced printing features in the print driver properties.
or
- Enable UniScribe on the Windows XP systems by performing the Registry edit shown in the MS support article.
