Hello!
I've already posted the question I thought I was looking for on another thread, but I'll explain the scenario below to see if someone can think of alternatives:
I have a CP4525dn that has been previously used. However, evidently it is locked down at the control panel so I can't change any of the settings. I don't know what the web server address is, and even so, if it's restricted, I don't know what the administrator password is. The only thing I can think of to get rid of all this is a cold reset, since the "restore to factory conditions" is locked away from the control panel and, let's say, the web interface.
Searching for "cp4525 cold reset" has brought up a lot of how-tos that don't really work for me in terms of the buttons they list don't actually exist on the CP4525 models. Can anyone think of any way we can at the very least unlock the printer, or would I be SOL in this case?
Thanks for your help!
