CM6040f consistent crinkled glossy paper at top of fuser unit.

Brand new copier.  Unwrapped and placed in office with bag on it a little while back.  A week or two ago, went ahead and installed drivers, plugged it in, prepped and got started on some 140 gram paper prints.  Two sided glossy paper.

After about a dozen sheets they started jamming with 13.10.00 and 13.20.00 errors (fuser area jam.)

I was in the middle of a job, and the new printer fails at printing heavy / xtra heavy glossy paper, and epically so.

HP sent me a new fuser core, quite promptly.  New fuser core crincles paper in several spots on the third print, and the fourth and thereafter turn into an accordeon mess inside the top of the fuser unit.

Same codes, same error... just happened much faster.  I'm waiting for support callback, job is getting later and later and not done, and I'm out money for a printer and several jobs which will not get done.  This, of course, harms me financially and in credibility.

This is the first set of HP printers I have purchased for my company in years, and its not looking good.  Suggestions?

NOTE: old fuser had a scratch on the outside top metal feed/roller.  New fuser from HP has LOTS of smaller scratches on the roller.  This is consistent with prior experience with shredded/crinkled paper in fuser when rollers are damaged.  I am to send the fuser back to HP in the next few days, and want to know if any of you users and troubleshooters have managed to fix this in any reasonable cost and time frame.  Thanks.
