HP Laserjets and Terminal Server

I am having an issue with device settings passing to a redirected printer in terminal server. I am using Server 2008 as the TS server. My specific issue is that the paper tray settings do not propogate to the redirected printer. They will if I use the easy print driver but this creates an issue with slow printing. I have installed the matching PCL6, PCL5, and Postscript universal driver on both the client and TS server and this resolved the slow printing. However, now all of the paper trays get mapped as letter even though they show up properly on the client. This particular printer is a CP5225. Are there issues trying to use the HP drivers in TS?

My workaround to this solution is to share the printer on the client and then install the printer on the TS server. These are hooked up via USB to the clients and I will set each users default printer to their corresponding desk printer. I would rather find a solution to the above scenario though.
