You still have some paper stuck in the printer or a sensor flag is out of position. If the motors do not turn when you turn on the printer or open and close the toner door then the printer thinks there is a jam and will not work until the issue is resolved. Where was the jam? If in the path going up from the paper tray to the top, then get yourself a still file folder and cut it down to paper size. Now remove the paper tray, open the toner door and remove the toner. Now feed the folder up from the bottom till you get see the leading edge in the toner cavity. It should push any scrapes of paper. Also check the duplex tray and check in the back by the fuser where the paper comes out.
