It is not a question of support for the printer as any pcl5 driver will work. Your problem is probably the usb to parallel adapter you are using since the printer does not have a usb port. When you plug in the cable it should say new hardware found and if given the choice just say you will load the software yourself and navigate to printers and choose any hp pcl5 driver for any printer such as the lj2200 which will work.
