OK, looking at the configuration pages, there is clearly something wrong with this toner. According to the status page, we should have 71% left (see attached images). Apparently, this toner has only 8411 pages printed so far.
The historical page coverage is 5.4%, which is within 10% of the standard for calculating toner life.
I will order a new toner and send the current cartridge in for warranty replacement. Are there detailed instructions how to make a warranty claim?
