What is not clear is have you removed the network cable with the power off and then powered on the printer? If yes, then I would think you have an issue with the formatter and you may require service. Also I assume that it is only connected to the network and does not have a usb connection. To best test, remove all wires except for the power cord and then power on. If the error is no longer there, then odds are you have a bad print job trying to print each time the printer turns on. Empty the printq and you can also try continuously pressing the cancel button as the printer initializes to see if you can cancel the bad job at the printer.
