Just visual observation...on the left side/ bottom of the toner you'll find three stainless looking contacts.. in the printer base are three bows of wires that correspond & contact with these...
If there is a problem, you should be able to observe it by comparing them with the others.
If that's the problem, its rather hard to fix....I've had to replace some of the wires, and it's a tough job...
