I am trying to install the HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 for a Laserjet p3005d on my Windows 8.1 x64 machine.
The printer is seen over the netowork but for some reason the installer included in the upd-pcl6-x64-5.8.0.17508 download can't seem to find the correct driver for the p3005d.
At first, it checks for a Windows update then says "No driver found. Windows can't find a driver for HP Laserjet p3005d PCL6 on the network." , then asks for the path to where the file is located.
I also searched the Windows Update knowledge base but could find every other HP laserjet except the P3005d.
Please advise.
