Regarding my problem HP Support recommended me to seek help in this forum.

Computer OPTIPLEX DELL 3 weeks new.
I have a problem with my scanner. The printer is working. The scanner is not reacting.
The HP Printer and Scanner doctor program tells me there is a problem. I have to download the driver. I already downloaded 6 times this driver
Name of downloaded file “ljM1120-hp-pnp-win64-nl ".
My DELL computer did not find the driver or the HP scanner did not find the driver.
Help desk DELL tells me it is a HP problem. Helpdesk HP tells me it is a DELL problem. Also since last December the HP product is out of assistance. The HP Support person was not even allowed to help??
The product worked with my former computer running on XP. I bought a new DELL computer 3 on Windows 7 to abandon Windows XP.
In the meantime the situation got worse. One of the options presented by HP doctor was to un-install the related HP programs and to re-install them.
I un-installed and launched the re-installation. The installation stopped in the middle of the process.
The only way to get out was a Ctrl/Alt/Delete.
As a result, not only the scanner is not working, I lost my printer too.
What to do?
