HP CLJ 5550 squeaking from left side

Hello,

My company has an HP CLJ5550 which has develop a loud squeaking noise that comes and goes. The squeak can be heard from the moment the printer starts to calibrate or as soon as the gears on the left side start to engage to spin the toner cartridge. The squeak also seems to be happening only on the lower two gears. If you spin the lower gear by hand with the toner out you can hear the faint squeak. From what I have read and observed there is 4 motors, gears, clutches and the lever to engage the toner cartridge. As soon as the lever moves up to engage the gears the noise starts. Is this a lubrication issue, bearing issue or how do I determine a resolution, what are my possible options to resolve? Is this a common issue that happens with this type of assembly?

Please note I have removed the left panel and ran the diagnostic test plus removed each toner and even swapped them to confirm the noise is from the gear assemble. I have replaced all the toner, image transfer kit, and check the pickup rollers none are the issue from my understanding.

Thank you for your time.

Ed Hayes
