My HP Color Laserjet Printer 2605dn has light to moderate use in my home office. The colors, especially magenta, have been shifting and fading for some time. The color output is now basically useless except for internal drafts. I have done all the calibration, cleaning and other maintenance I can do myself. I checked online and this is a known problem with this printer model. I now need/want to have an an expert in HP printers fix the problem. Is there an HP service center within reasonable distance of my home in downtown Brooklyn [zip 11201} to which I can take or mail the printer? Alternatively, is there an HP authorized dealer or repair person who has a proven track record in fixing this specific problem? Of course, cost of labor and parts is an important factor. I would like to squeeze more use out of this unit since I still have six or seven HP cartridges, which are expensive. I would greatly appreciate your advice and input. Thanks. Walter Healy
