We have had the very same instance, printers across our network have been getting 40xx and 79xx errors, we utilize a print management system for public printers. Our only course so far is to delete and pending documents in the printer Q and delete the job folders created by our print management system. But this is only temporary and only last for a few days until the next unknown type print job is created and re creates the same problem. We have numerouls models of HP printers, ink and laser throughout the system, but it really didnt seem to hit us until we started replacing some of our printers with new ones. We use the universal driver 5.7.1 , on networked computers running windows 7, some are in domains and some are not, but still receive those errors. Anyone with similiar issues find a fix please share in this forum, because it driving us bonkers trying to duplicate it or find the source of the problem. Thanks
