I am using an HP Laserjet CP1025nw Color printer connected via USB to a Macbook Pro, running on OSX 10.9.2, currently the most up to date.
For a long time now, I've noticed that sometimes when I print, I get a short, horizontal black bars that print on the right side of the page. They repeat, and are spaced at varying widths apart from each other. Sometimes there are about 5 of them, sometimes many more. Some of the bars contain white text in them that has been totally compressed, and the text itself appears to be taken from a random selection of text within the document itself. It appears compressed, and stretched vertically.
I have tried printing from different programs (Photoshop, Preview, Adobe Acrobat) and have tried saving the files as different file types, (JPG and PDF) but no luck. I am using genuine HP toner and I am not running low.
This seems totally random. It does not happen all the same, but it has been going on for a while now and I'm getting very frusterated. I have attached a sample of what I am experiencing. In order to see and read the white text in the bars, it is best to zoom in.
Any help would be appreciated!
