First off, yes I realize this thread is nearly two years old. I'm deperate to help my user so I'm taking a chance.
I have this problem, but on a server that serves remote desktop services. One of my users has an ancient (LJ 4050n) printer that I've not been able to get going for her. I believe it's driver mismatch between the desktop and server, but when I try to add the driver to the server it fails. This happens to be the only 4050 we have.
Is there any chance of fixing this, or are we stuck with buying my user a new printer?
