Your instructions didn't work for me exactly as they were, but after some messing around, I was able to get it. The bootloader file is vital to your success. It's not necessary to buy a new CF card from HP or to use a Linux machine. Chances are your current CF card is fine, but the firmware itself is corrupt. I should know, as I mistakenly formatted my CF card as FAT16 and came back from it. If anyone needs clarification, please email me: mikep47(at)live.ca
