We have a several new LaserJet 700 m712 we're trying to set up on the network. When we print to them via Windows 7 machines, there is a 10 second delay where the window goes to Not Responding before it finally seems to spool.
When printing directly from the print server, this does not occur. We have also tried connecting the printer directly to a W7 machine via both IP and USB and we still see the delay.
We have confirmed the firmware is as up to date as possible, and have tried several drivers, including the 700 driver, the HP UDP PCL 5, UDP PCL 6, and UDP PCL 5 (5.7).
We have several 4300's set up on the print server and connected to the w7 machines, and this does not happen when printing to them.
Any thoughts?
