Hello,

The security advisory:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/kb/docDisplay?javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.prp_ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01=wsrp-navigationalState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03102449-6%257CdocLocale%253D%257CcalledBy%253D&javax.portlet.tpst=ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01&ac.admitted=1387381909362.876444892.199480143

advises updating the firmware for a large range of printers including the P2055d which we own. However the link to the firmware page:

http://h20566.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/psi/swdHome/?lang=en&cc=us&sp4ts.oid=3662058

contains no platform-neutral firmware downloads, unlike other printer pages on the site. We run GNU/Linux throughout the company and have no Windows or Mac machines to run a firmware update program on.

The Windows download ljp2055_FW_Update_20131112_SIGNED.exe contains a file hp2055d.bin - is this the firmware? Do these firmware files no longer have an .rfu extension, as the older documentation suggests they should?

Thanks!

Daniel
