You can not move the toners. Your issue is common. There is a solenoid at the top that controls where the carousel stops so toner can be placed on the drum. The solenoid has a felt pad that was used to dampen the noise and to also prevent magnetic build up on the metal pieces. Over time the felt wears away and all that is left is the glue that held it. The "L" arm of the solenoid that moves back and forth sticks preventing the carousel from stopping in the correct position so no toner is transferred. To repair is not that hard but you should download the service manual. Just do a google search. Once you have the manual, remove the top cover and the solenoid is to the right of the laser/scanner at the top in a sort of metal cage. You have to remove the formatter and one motor on the right side. The solenoid is attached to the dc controller behind the formatter and has 2 yellow wires going to it. It is best to disconnect from the dc controller and once you remove the solenoid just pull it up enough so you can work on it but leave the wires that connect to the dc controller so you can get to it. You remove the spring that secures the "L" arm to the solenoid. You clean up the glue on the ledge and L arm and then lay down some new material. A thin piece of furniture pad or small piece of felt from velcro will work. You have to lay down something or it will be magnetized and be worse.
