Hi.
I recently posted the thread below about HP4700 Shadow printing.
It was a choice between a problem with the Formatter board or the High Voltage PS. Since we have 3 of these printers, I decided that I could rule out the Formatter board if I swapped it with one from another printer.
It all appeared to go well. The Formatter board doesn't appear to be the problem.
However on swapping the Formatter boards back, I have 2 problems.
Problem 1
The Shadow Printing printer. Whenever I power it on, the display is blank. It doesn't light up and the 3 LEDs do not flash or show any activity.
Problem 2
To compound matters, the previously working HP4700 now can't be reached on the network. You can see it, send prints to it and they appear in the Print Queue, but then they never print and display Error Printing after a while. There are no error codes displayed and all the network settings seem to be correct.
Thanks.
