Bear with me as I'm in way over my head with this.
We use an Epicor Vision proprietery system...this runs on Windows Server 2008 and the application is based on Unidata database.
We have purchased the HP M401 Laserjet printer as what we felt would be a good affordable option for our remote stores. This printer is printing invoices that are generated from the proprietery system.
We have determined that we needed to buy the Bar Codes and More DIMM in order for this printer to print the bar code on the invoice, so we have done that and installed it in the printer. The problem is, it will only print the bar code on the 1st invoice...every invoice after that we do not get the bar code, only the invoice number(invoice number is what is supposed to get printed as a scannable bar code).
We checked with our software provider and they have given me a PCL file that Vision sends to the printer. I can send this file to the printer via command line and it behaves exactly the same...1st time I get the bar code, 2nd time I do not.
I have attached the PCL file as txt in hopes that someone can help me with this.
Worth noting...in our warehouse we use the larger M601 printer with a USB version of the Bar Codes and More and it works flawlessly.
